Shedd Aquarium’s Penguins Visit The Beluga Whales On Another Adorable Field Trip

Wellington is such a curious little penguin!

Chicago’s famous penguins continue their leisurely jaunt through the Shedd Aquarium this week. Wellington, the oldest of the adventuring penguins (and our personal favorite,) visited the beluga whales yesterday. These little tuxedo sweethearts are a major mood booster during this uncertain time. Just look how cute they are!

When the aquarium first closed its doors two weeks ago, that didn’t stop its workers from sharing animal encounters with Chicagoans. They’ve been posting adorable animal encounters for the past two weeks, many of which have gone viral. If you head to the Shedd’s Twitter or Instagram accounts, you’ll find multiple posts of all sorts of critters. Social distancing can’t get in the way of zoological discovery!

We really can’t thank the Shedd enough for taking the time to share all these wonderful photos and videos with us. With so many Chicagoans spending more time indoors during the coronavirus outbreak, seeing adorable animal content really does a lot to lift our moods and calm our anxiety.
