For those who may have missed it, Shedd Aquarium has joined the plethora of museums and attractions offering free days in Chicago this winter.
The aquarium recently announced that it will offer a total of 26 free days to Illinois Residents across January and February before it begins offering free admission on Tuesday evenings throughout March, April, May, and June.
Given that many of the free admission dates land sporadically and mostly during the week over the next couple of months, the biggest news from the announcement was that the Shedd Aquarium would be free for a whole week starting tomorrow including free admission on both Saturday and Sunday this coming weekend.
Tickets need to be secured ahead of a visit by booking online at sheddaquarium.org/plan-a-visit or over the phone by calling 312-939-2438.
Free entry will not be permitted to guests who walk up without a reservation and all adults must provide proof of residency in person when redeeming tickets at the discounted rate. This can be a valid state ID or driver’s license with proof of Illinois residence.
