Dutch Bros-mania officially hit Chicago earlier this summer when the first local outpost opened in suburban Melrose Park.
Now, the viral beverage chain is potentially expanding its footprint to a second local outpost.

Dutch Bros Oak Park
Rumors have swirled for months that Dutch Bros could be opening a second Chicagoland location in Oak Park.
A zoning hearing notice was posted outside of an empty storefront at 316 Madison Street in late 2025, according to a report from the Wednesday Journal of Oak Park and River Forest.
The flier confirmed Dutch Bros has applied for a special use permit for the storefront.
Dutch Bros’ application was unanimously approved by the Village of Oak Park, according to a February report from NBC Chicago,
Additional details on the opening, including an exact timeline, have not yet been released.
But if existing reports are any indication, Dutch Bros Oak Park could soon become a reality.
The news comes just months after the launch of Dutch Bros Melrose Park. The West Coast-based, drive-thru beverage chain has gained a cult following on social media in recent years.
Dutch Bros is known for its wide variety of customizable coffees, energy drinks, iced teas, and dirty sodas.
