Currently ranked No. 29 on the World’s 50 Best Bars list, Satan’s Whiskers—East London’s cult-favorite bar—is bringing its irreverent energy and hip-hop-fueled aura to Hawksmoor Chicago for one night only.
The award-winning cocktail bar is celebrated for its mastery of classic cocktails and its low-lit, high-vibe atmosphere. Satan’s Whiskers will join forces with Hawksmoor’s, which has twice been named “Best International Restaurant Bar” by the Tales of the Cocktail Foundation and was a 2025 James Beard Award semifinalist for “Outstanding Wine and Other Beverages Program.”
When is the Satan’s Whiskers x Hawksmoor Takeover?
Satan’s Whiskers founders Kevin Armstrong and Dan Waddy will take over the second-floor bar from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM on Thursday, August 21.
The signature lineup of cocktails includes:
- Satan’s Whiskers – Fords Gin, orange, dry vermouth, Punt e Mes, Grand Marnier, orange bitters (served up)
- GINcredible Hulk – Ford’s Officers’ Reserve Gin, triple melon, Lillet Blanc, Suze (on the rocks)
- Ford’s Riviera – Ford’s Gin, elderflower, Cedrata, verjus, white bitter, limoncello, soda (long and carbonated)
- Saturn – Ford’s Gin, lemon, falernum, passionfruit, orgeat (extended and blended)
How to get tickets for Satan’s Whiskers x Hawksmoor Takeover
Cocktails will be available to purchase à la carte while supplies last. The event is open to the public, with Evite RSVPs encouraged; walk-ins are also welcome, subject to capacity. RSVPs via Evite are highly encouraged, although they do not guarantee a reserved seat. The last entry is at 9:30 PM.
