Safari Lake Geneva brings a stunning safari adventure to you right here in Illinois! The original drive-through safari experience lets you feed a series of incredible animals from the comfort of your car.
After purchasing a bowl of grain to feed the animals, perch yourself near the rolled-down window or your sunroof to see, feed, and safely interact with a unique variety of wild animals.
Plus, you’re welcome to drive through the grounds as many times as you’d like and see the amazing live animals roaming the land. Feed a giraffe and interact with a zebra or an alpaca!
From Maddie, the Miniature Zebu, to donkeys, llamas, miniature horses, and more, this unique experience (located a mere 2-hour drive from the city to Lake Geneva), is not a theme park or a zoo exactly, but a wildlife preserve that’s home to endlessly fascinating animals from across the globe!
The refuge houses animals from ‘dying breeds’ bringing them access to vast land, and allows the animals to interact amongst themselves in herds or alone like they would in their ancestral home.
The company supports conservation initiatives at home and participates in surveys and outreach work and abroad, like conducting fieldwork and long-term monitoring for the critically endangered Grenada frog and the Grenada dove!
The safari is open from May to October 31st with general admission starting at $14.95. Online reservations are required so make sure to reserve a ticket here!
