A favorite suburban tulip festival officially opened today to the public for the 2026 spring season.
At Richardson Farms in suburban Spring Grove, visitors can enjoy more than 1 million blooms across 75 varieties.
The fields showcase 350,000 new tulip bulbs planted in the fall, along with last year’s bulbs now blooming. The 500-acre farm will be open for about two to three weeks while the flowers are in bloom this year, with 30 different varieties on display.

The array of tulips includes ruby-red Apeldoorns, pale-yellow and pink Elegant Ladies, dark-purple Queens of the Night, and white and purple Di Daisies. Additionally, about 100,000 daffodils will also be in bloom.
The bulbs were planted on October 31 and November 1, 2025, and now the expansive field is overflowing with vibrant flowers.
Tickets for the festival start at $17 and include access to food trucks, wine tasting, mimosas, free games, live music, free parking, and a walking trail.
