You probably have heard of Restoration Hardware, the upscale modern furniture store that is one of Chicago’s hidden gems.
Located on a secluded street in the Gold Coast, the store features a beautiful restaurant with a grand central garden courtyard, a cast-stone fountain at its center, and, of course, extravagant furniture filling the space.
However, the prices at Restoration Hardware are quite unattainable for the average consumer (still, it’s definitely worth a trip to the restaurant). Fortunately, there is another option—Restoration Hardware’s outlet, which offers significantly lower prices, often more than 50% off.
What You’ll Find at the RH Outlet
The RH Outlet at Willow Festival is the closest to the city. You’ll find it in a busy shopping center in suburban Northbrook. According to NBC, the outlet spans an impressive 30,000 square feet, taking over a former Best Buy location.
Realtor Haley Levine noted that while the store is massive and well-stocked with furniture items for the living room, bedroom, and kitchen pieces, the prices are still relatively high.
It may not be the place to find a $500 sofa, but if you’re looking for quality pieces, the outlet offers great value.
New items are brought in every Wednesday and Friday, so the best time to visit is Thursday or Friday.
