Real Housewives fans in Chicago have reason to be cautiously excited—rumors are swirling that a Real Housewives of Chicago series is in the works.
Bravo, the network behind the hit reality franchise, hasn’t confirmed anything yet. For now, all buzz remains pure speculation. Still, word has been spreading on social media for weeks that a Chicago-based installment is currently filming around the city.
RHOCHI: It’s About Time
The Real Housewives franchise currently covers the lives of women across 11 cities and metro areas, including New York, Los Angeles, Orange County, and Salt Lake City. A Chicago edition of the show has long been rumored, given the Windy City’s prominence as a major U.S. metropolis.
On Wednesday, popular Bravo content creator @BravoBabe added fuel to the fire with a post on Twitter/X suggesting that the alleged cast recently filmed at a Cubs game.
“It’s about time… #RHOChi 🎥 🏙️ 😉,” the post read, alongside photos showing several women in matching Cubs jackets.
Real Housewives of Chicago: Real or a Rumor?
Meanwhile, on the Bravo Real Housewives subreddit, one user claimed they recently encountered Seth Marks—husband of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Meredith Marks—who allegedly confirmed the rumors.
“It’s true. My sister works at a restaurant in the Chicago suburbs and Seth Marks was in last week,” the user wrote. “He was in town for a wedding and told the manager that there is a Real Housewives of Chicago currently filming!”
Another user chimed in, noting that while filming may be happening, it doesn’t guarantee a series will follow. “Sometimes they film a test run that never actually makes it to TV,” they wrote.
As for where in the Chicago area the series might be set, rumors on social media suggest it could focus on affluent suburbs like Hinsdale and Burr Ridge, along with some well-known spots in the city.
Ultimately, until Bravo confirms anything, RHOCHI is just hearsay—but we’ll be keeping a close eye to see if it pans out!
