Celebrate the Original Rainbow Cone’s return with free ice cream this weekend!
Chicago’s historic ice cream institution the Original Rainbow Cone has been a staple in Chicago since Joseph Sapp first opened the original South Side establishment in 1926. Dedicated to innovating one of his favorite childhood luxuries, Sapp’s Rainbow Cone grew and grew in popularity.
The beloved ice cream shop in Beverly has been closed since early October 2021 to allow staff to take time off for self-care according to social media posts. Today the Original Rainbow Cone will reopen for the season and to celebrate its return, Original Rainbow is offering a second rainbow cone completely free with each one purchased.
The offer runs from Saturday, February 12th to Monday 14th at the Original Rainbow Cone shop which was founded in 1926 in Beverly at 9233 S. Western Ave.
