If you’re not familiar with Pop Mart, it’s time to get to know this Chinese lifestyle brand that has taken the world by storm in recent years. This Asian toy and collectibles brand specializes in blind box toys, which come in sealed boxes, keeping the contents a surprise until opened.
While Chicago was initially slow to embrace the trend, we’ve finally caught up. The first Pop Mart opened on the Mag Mile in October 2024, followed by a second location at the Fashion Outlets of Chicago in January of this year.
However, the phenomenon shows no signs of slowing down—especially in Illinois. Two more Pop Mart stores are set to open near Chicago this spring, one at Woodfield Mall and another at Oakbrook Center Mall. How lucky are we?
