National Deep Dish Pizza Day is next month, and the pizzeria where it all began is inviting Chicagoans to experience the magic firsthand.
The original Pizzeria Uno in River North is opening its kitchen doors for a special pizza-making class on Saturday, April 5.
This hands-on experience gives guests a behind-the-scenes look at the deep dish-making process. Attendees will make their own pizza dough and learn the step-by-step technique for building the perfect deep dish pie.
The class includes pizza, a house salad, and a Pepsi beverage—all for $40 per person. Guests 21 and over can also enjoy a complimentary draft beer or glass of wine with their meal.
Open to ages 5 and up, the class is a fun afternoon outing for families and friend groups alike. Classes will be held at both the original Pizzeria Uno and its sister location, Pizzeria Due.
When: Saturday, April 5, 2025 | 12 – 2:30 p.m.
Where: Pizzeria Uno – 29 E. Ohio St. | Pizzeria Due – 619 N. Wabash
