Pearl Jam is going back on tour, but only stopping by a limited number of cities across the U.S. With a total of 9 dates planned in St. Paul, Minnesota; Indianapolis, Indiana; Forth Worth and Austin, Texas; and Chicago, the Windy City has two prime dates on the schedule starting early autumn.
Pearl Jam is coming to Chicago this September 5th and 7th, performing at the United Center with special guest Inhaler.
The band is familiar with the Windy City performing here over 23 times since the band’s formation. Plus, lead vocalist Eddie Vedder is an Evanston native and a proclaimed Cubs fan! This new tour plans to stop in St. Paul, Fort Worth, and Austin for two nights, with a one-night show planned for Indianapolis.
The band was last in Chicago on August 18, 2018. Vedder also performed at the Auditorium Theatre in February of last year with his band ‘Eddie Vedder and the Earthlings’.
As far as tickets go, presale tickets go on sale today for active members of the Pearl Jam fan club ‘Ten Club’ while general admission tickets go live on April 28th. Pearl Jam is using an all-in pricing method that basically means “the ticket price listed is the full out-of-pocket price inclusive of fees so there are no surprises at check out,” according to an official press release.
If you’re interested in attending, make sure to register for Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan account to get tickets as registration is only open until April 25th at 7 p.m.
