June is peony season, and there’s no better place to admire the stunning blooms—and take some home—than Oh My Peonies in Marion, Wisconsin.
The Oh My Peonies experience
The family-run farm boasts over 350 peony varieties and 2,500 plants, with guided tours that lead guests through its sprawling flower fields.
Visitors can cut their own peonies to craft a take-home bouquet, or choose from an array of pre-designed arrangements.
For larger groups, Oh My Peonies also offers personalized garden tours.
When to go and what to know
The farm opens for the season on Sunday, June 1, with peak blooming typically arriving around the second week of June. Visitors are welcome through the end of July, when the peonies naturally die off.
Hours are Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Located about four hours from Chicago, Oh My Peonies makes for an unforgettable summer day trip—one that’s well worth the price of gas.
