After years of speculation, Noel and Liam Gallagher have officially confirmed that Oasis is getting back together. For the first time in almost 15 years, Oasis will perform a string of reunion shows in the UK and North America is almost certainly next.
The band acrimoniously split back in 2009 after a backstage fight at the Rock En Seine festival in Paris, and Noel called it the last straw between the brothers and issued a statement:
It’s with some sadness and great relief to tell you that I quit Oasis tonight. People will write and say what they like, but I simply could not go on working with Liam a day long.
Now, it appears the pair have buried the hatchet, as it’s now been confirmed that Oasis will reunite—to every rock fan’s delight—with 14 dates planned across the UK and Irelan, and an International tour is next. NME exclusively revealed the cities Oasis will play on their upcoming 2025 reunion tour.
Is Oasis coming to North America?
An announcement regarding the Oasis Live ’25 tour is expected in the coming week. Sources close to the tour have revealed to NME the locations that the tour will supposedly visit next year. It is believed the Gallagher brothers will be heading to the US, South America, Asia, and Australia. Here is a list of the expected cities, and thankfully, Chicago made the cut.

The British rock band is considered one of the most impactful British bands of all time, defining the spirit of the 90s. With multiplatinum hits such as “Wonderwall,” “Champagne Supernova,” and “Don’t Look Back In Anger,” it’s no wonder their catalog had an influx of streams when the tour was announced.
Taking place in the summer of 2025, fans can expect a glorious homecoming gig at Heaton Park, where they will certainly not look back with anger (fingers crossed).
