Those heading to a New Year’s Eve party in Chicago can expect a rainy, snowy mix Tuesday night.
Temperatures will reach a low of about 27 degrees on New Year’s Eve, according to the National Weather Service.
New Year’s Day will see a high of around 31 degrees, a more seasonally appropriate high for Chicago.
The sub-freezing temps will stick around through the remainder of the week, with nighttime lows in the teens expected next weekend.
Chicago could see another round of snowfall on Sunday, with a high near 26. As for how much snow, we’ll have to wait and see!
