If you were one of the lucky ones to see Oasis last summer at Soldier Field—well, it was an out-of-body experience that will be talked about for ages. And if you’ve been dreaming of their return to the road, it might be sooner than you think. Noel Gallagher recently hinted that a tour in 2027 may be in the works.
During an appearance on talkSPORT’s Drive, Gallagher added fuel to the rumors about a potential 2027 Oasis tour. When host Andy Goldstein asked about these rumors, Gallagher responded, “Well, let’s put it this way: there’s no football tournament on next year, so we’ve got to do something in the summer, right?”
While Oasis has not officially confirmed a return to touring, their Instagram account has been posting cryptic reels featuring two young boys, as well as an Instagram story encouraging fans to sign up for news. Numerous reports suggest that the band is planning another big tour, which may include a return to the iconic U.K. venue Knebworth.
Would Oasis come to Chicago again in 2027?
That’s still unknown. We just hope that if they do tour in 2027, they include North America, specifically Chicago, on the stops. However, that might just be wishful thinking.
