This is the place to be this Friday.
This Friday, August 13, the perfect activity for family, friends, and couples is taking place at the South Lot at Soldier Field. Music, entertainment, and Marvelmania will precede a screening of Black Panther for a celebration of our real-life superheroes, cancer survivors, and caregivers.
Guests will have their own individual parking spaces where they can set up chairs, picnics, and all they need at their optimum viewing stations. Merrymaking and an awesome carpool party will then kick off the evening at 6:30 pm.
Whilst food trucks offer snacks and provide festival feels, music will be provided by 101.9 The Mix’s Chris Petlak. There will also be superhero meet & greets with some of the most iconic Marvel characters as well as giveaways and contests like best-decorated car and most impressive cosplay. So get those creative juices flowing and don’t hold back!
Once the merrymaking calms, guests can settle into their seats as the enormous outdoor screen starts up. A look back at 50 years of hope and breakthroughs with the American Cancer Society will then precede a showing of Marvel’s record-breaking Black Panther movie.
The best part? All proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society!
Tickets are $100 per car and those without a vehicle can view the movie from a Panther Pedestrian Pods for $35 per person.
