Calling all local film buffs—the movie marathon of the summer is going down this weekend in Chicago!
Mubi Fest is coming to three Chicago theaters this weekend, bringing back-to-back days of blockbuster films, plus a free movie market, live music, and other fun!

Mubi Fest 2026
Mubi Fest 2026 will take place from Friday July 10 through Sunday, July 12.
The lineup features a curated selection of films at Chicago’s Salt Shed, Music Box Theatre, and Gene Siskel Film Center.
Movie lovers can expect some of their favorite titles, from recent Oscar-winners to cult classics and beyond.
A few films on deck include an immersive showing of The Substance (2024), and a 40th anniversary screening of David Cronenberg’s The Fly.
Also on the schedule is the Mubi Market, a vendor market at the Salt Shed on Saturday July 11. The free event will feature local food and beverage options, a record store pop-up shop, merch, games, and more.
Mubi Fest at the Salt Shed will also feature a special concert from indie pop artist Current Joys.
And Mubi Fest doesn’t end there—tons of other activations are happening across the city throughout the weekend, including a film-inspired happy hour at The Brewed coffee shop and other pop-ups.

Tickets for Mubi Fest are sold by each individual event. Passes for select events start at as low as $15.
All day passes for Saturday’s events at the Salt Shed are also available.
