Attention, soccer fans! While some may be disappointed that Chicago is the only major city not hosting a World Cup game, there’s still plenty to be excited about.
A new bar and restaurant dedicated exclusively to showing soccer matches from around the world is set to open this spring in West Town.
According to the Chicago Block Club, Soccer House is in the process of taking over the former Twisted Spoke.
Soccer House will be the leading soccer bar in Chicago
The biker bar, known for its extensive selection of whiskeys, closed in August after three decades of operation. The space will feature three distinct viewing areas: Soccer House’s main bar, a back room, and a rooftop beer garden, and is expected to showcase both men’s and women’s soccer matches.
The launch of Soccer House aligns with the kickoff of the 2026 FIFA World Cup in June across the United States, Mexico, and Canada—so expect the city to be lively!
