The first signs of summer in Chicago are beginning to crop up—including the return of one of the city’s most iconic warm-weather traditions!
Mario’s Italian Lemonade is back for the 2026 season beginning next month.
Here’s all the details.
Mario’s Italian Lemonade—Coming This May
Mario’s Italian Lemonade has been an institution of Chicago’s historic Little Italy neighborhood since 1954, when it was opened by the DiPaolo family.
The mom and pop shop shop on Taylor street quickly grew a dedicated local following for its long list of flavors.
More than 70 years later, a trip to Mario’s remains a beloved yearly tradition among Chicagoans.
Mario’s Italian Lemonade (1068 W Taylor St.) will once again open its doors on May 1.
