1. Watch the Nike of Samothrace become an actual angel
The iconic Greek sculpture, The Nike of Samothrace, created during the Hellenistic period in 190 BC, is famously on display at The Louvre™ in Paris. And now, there’s a stunning replica of the sculpture at Louvre Fantastique: The Exhibition™, which is the first piece of artwork you’ll see when you visit the exhibition. 2. Get an up-close look of Da Vinci’s Mona Lisa
Leonardo Da Vinci’s Mona Lisa has captivated art lover’s for centuries. Now is your chance to get an even closer look at the mysterious woman behind what has been described as “the best known and most visited” piece of artwork in the world! This spectacular painting, created during the Italian Renaissance is almost impossible to see at the Louvre™ with swarms of viewers surrounding it, but at this experience you’ll see a magnificent digital version of the world’s most famous painting.
3. See Giuseppe Arcimboldo’s L’Automne oil on canvas painting come alive
Artist Giuseppe Arcimboldo created L’Automne in 1573 of a man’s portrait made entirely of fruits and vegetables. 4. Rearrange Venus De Milo’s arms
Attendees of Louvre Fantastique: The Exhibition™ can rearrange the colorful arms in shades of teal, green or hot pink of Venus De Milo at this interactive exhibit, creating different looks for the Grecian goddess. The original sculpture at the Louvre™ was created by Greek sculptor Alexandros of Antioch between 150 and 125 BC, so it’s a unique way to interact with the iconic piece of art!
5. See a real-life version of the famous Still Life Table of Desserts by Jan Davidsz de Heem
The Still Life Table of Desserts created by Jan Davidsz de Heem in 1640 literally comes to life at this exhibit complete with replicas of the table, fruit and pastries on elegant plates and glassware, which is definitely a sight to see!
