There’s no need to have a debate about pizza, as it’s clear that Chicago is home to some of the best in the country. And the people of Yelp certainly agree.
According to a recent report by Yelp, which ranked America’s top pizza chains, a beloved Chicago shop was named the top pizza chain.
This marks the site’s first-ever ranking of the nation’s top 25 pizza chains, based on customer ratings and reviews submitted on the platform.
The list, which only includes pizza chains with 60 or more locations, asserted that the top spot is none other than Lou Malnati’s.

The chain, which began in Lincolnwood, has over 70 locations and ships across the country.
And people from all over the country come for one item—the signature deep-dish pizza.
The buttery crust, exclusive sausage blend, and Wisconsin mozzarella cheese are what make it a standout dish. It’s handmade using a “secret family recipe” that has been passed down for generations.
Other chains that made the list include California Pizza Kitchen, Jet’s Pizza, Domino’s Pizza, and Little Caesars.
