While Halloween is going to look a little different this year, there’s still plenty of ways to creep it real this October. Whether it’s binging halloween classics at a drive-in, strolling the darkened galleries of a horror museum, or going on a night out with the ghouls and goblins at the Lincoln Park Zoo.
“Ever wonder what it would be like to explore Lincoln Park Zoo after the gates close? Here’s your chance,” the zoo wrote on their website. “Leave the kids at home and head to the zoo for Adults Night Out: The Great Pumpkin Glow.”
“Enjoy seasonal activities—such as a corn maze, a pumpkin walk, a haunted trail, themed food, and seasonal cocktails—at this unique after-hours experience. No kids. No crowds. Just strolling among exhibits with a beer or hot cider in hand. Sound fun? Join us!”
Eadie Levy’s Landmark Café and Bird’s Eye Bar & Grill will be open for the night of the event, as well as the seasonal pop-up bar and grill, Patch’s Pumpkin Bar & Grill, who’ll be dishing out fall favorites.
Tickets to the The Great Pumpkin Glow run from $15 – $30 depending on the date of purchase. Early Bird tickets are on sale now for $15, with prices to increase thereafter.
To address the elephant in the room, the Lincoln Park Zoo is taking extra precautions to ensure that the event is safe and sound, including: available hand-sanitizing stations at the East and West Gates, frequent cleaning of high-touch areas, and mandatory PPE for staff.
