Most towns don’t feel like they belong in a Disney movie. However, once in a while, you’ll come across a few places that truly capture a storybook-like charm.
One such place is Lake Geneva, renowned for its grand Gilded Age mansions along the shore and its enchanting, cobbstone-filled downtown. It’s a destination worth visiting, even if you don’t plan to get in the water.
Lake Geneva truly comes alive during the holiday season, particularly during the annual Electric Christmas Parade, which takes place on the first weekend of December. This spectacular event features dazzling floats, live music, and beloved holiday characters—perfect for winter enjoyment.
