A Gourd-Geous Autumn Evening Awaits In Goose Island!

The start of fall is always a special moment for Chicago. Trees change color and shed their leaves while days grow shorter and hint at chilly months ahead. Fall transforms our many prismatic parks and blesses us with unique moments like the unforgettable spectacle of Chicagohenge when the sun beams perfectly through the city’s core.

For many, however, it’s the arrival of pumpkin madness that characterizes fall and the plentitude of pumpkin-related fun that people eagerly anticipate. Pumpkin patches pop-up all over the country and here in Chicago, we have some of the very best. Worry not, there’s no need for a long trip out to the suburbs for this year’s enduring autumnal memory. Jack’s Pumpkin Patch Pop-Up is here to offer a peerless pumpkin patch experience bang in the middle of Chicago!

Spanning across more than 2 acres of land Jack’s Pumpkin Pop-Up can be found down in Goose Island. It’s the largest and only cornfield in downtown Chicago and for the month of October boundless fun awaits pumpkin-enthusiasts. The vicissitudes of 2020 might throw obstacles our way but Jack’s Pumpkin Patch has persevered. Friends and families alike can head down on any night for the rest of October to enjoy a perfect autumn night of fresh air, hay-bales, and several pumpkin-packed pictures. Come and pick from a plethora of prodigious pumpkins and you’ll soon find yourself lost in a curious cornfield.

All ages are invited to the fun and while adults will need to pre-purchase tickets children four and under go free. Given the times, Jack’s has had to reinvent and adapt to promote the necessary health and safety regulations of 2020. In keeping with Chicago’s Department of Health Safety standards, masks need to be worn at all times, visitors are limited to one-and-a-half hour slots, no food or drinks will be sold, and Jack’s will be 100% cashless to make everything as safe as possible for all involved.

There may not be as many beverages as years gone by but rain or shine a fun-filled gourd-geous day in the fresh autumn air awaits at Jack’s Pumpkin Patch Pop-Up!
