While we genuinely love Chicago and often rave about it, there are times when we feel the need to escape the city. Although living in Chicago has its perks, sometimes we just need a breather in the suburbs—particularly these specific suburbs.
According to a new survey by Niche, a school review platform with a focus on neighborhoods, these Illinois suburbs have been deemed the best places to live in the country.
The company’s “Best Places to Live in America” ranking comprehensively evaluates an area’s overall livability. To determine these rankings, Niche evaluated various factors, such as the cost of living, job opportunities, nightlife, outdoor activities, weather patterns, commuting trends, housing market conditions, and crime and safety statistics, among others. Among the top 30 suburbs are Naperville and Clarendon Hills.
Both Naperville and Clarendon Hills received an overall grade of A+, landing at 23rd and 25th on the list.
