It appears that Michigan Avenue isn’t the only location in the Chicago area getting a Hello Kitty Cafe. A new cafe featuring the adorable character is set to open soon at a popular mall in the northern suburbs of Chicago.
Old Orchard Mall is adding a Hello Kitty Cafe
According to NBC Chicago, a second Hello Kitty Cafe is set to open at Westfield Old Orchard Mall. The announcement was made as part of a news release detailing the Skokie Mall’s summer programming, but specifics on the cafe’s location within the mall and opening date have not yet been released.
While the Chicago location also doesn’t have an opening date yet, Hello Kitty Cafes are already open in several other cities, including Las Vegas, Santa Clara, California, and Vancouver, Canada.
These cafes offer a variety of merchandise, along with a menu featuring freshly baked cookies, cakes, donuts, seasonal treats, and handcrafted drinks. Some locations also serve afternoon tea or cocktails, as noted on the Sanrio website.
