Extreme Heat Warning in effect beginning Saturday
The National Weather Service has issued an extreme heat warning beginning Saturday, June 21, at 10 a.m. until 12 a.m. Tuesday, June 24.
Saturday’s high will reach 94 degrees, but humidity could make it feel as hot at 103 degrees. Temperatures will drop to 79 degrees come nightfall. Breezy conditions will provide some relief, with winds of 15 to 25mph predicted.
Sunday will see a high of 96 degrees, with plenty of sunshine on the books. Monday will see similar conditions with a high of 97 degrees and clear skies.
