The Halloween parade, beginning at 10:30 AM, will take families through Andersonville, starting at Peirce School, (1423 W. Bryn Mawr Ave.) and ending at the main trick or treating event on Captalpa.
It’s a family fun parade and a chance for kids to go trick-or-treating in the city– yes please! Also filled with
plenty of Halloween candy, pumpkin flavorted treats, and caramel apples to enjoy. Sign us up! Plus, Defloured will be providing gluten free candy bars!
This year’s beloved event will be hosted by AlleyCat Comics, along with a live DJ spinning all the hot tunes. Don’t forget about the annual costume contest or the brand new 360-degree photo booth!
Over 50 local Andersonville businesses will be participating in the trick-or-treating event from noon to 3 PM. So, dress up in your best Halloween costume and head to the stores all along Clark Street for sweet treats.
According to the Andersonville Chamber of Commerce, groups and families with disabilities or sensory sensitivities can receive priority access from 10 to 11 AM.
Then, prepare for a spectacle at the Peirce School’s field, as dancers from Gus Giordano’s Dance School are set to perform a Halloween dance show at 3 PM, to popular spooky tracks like “Thriller” and additional themed songs.
This family-centric event is all about providing the kids with a fantastic Halloween experience– and is sure to be a can’t miss event filled with plenty of sugar and endless cuteness. Check out the participating businesses here.
