The special cans will have a peel-off season schedule on it for easy reference.
Goose Island Beer Co announced Friday they’ll be releasing a beer for White Sox fans. The limited-edition “Sox Golden Ale” will be available at Guaranteed Rate Field and stores and bars throughout the city as fans come to games from all over Chicago. The box is decorated with Sox Park’s familiar exploding scoreboard, pinwheels, and a peel-off season schedule.
The beer comes while the team is allegedly on the upswing during offseason, although Goose Island President Todd Ahsmann says that’s just a coincidence. According to The Eater, he’s always wanted to brew a beer for the White Sox, despite the company brewing one for the Cubs first during the rival team’s 2016 World Series Championship. Hmm…
The Sox Golden Ale is reportedly an easy-drinking ale perfect for stadium or tailgate drinking. The box is decorated with Sox Park’s familiar exploding scoreboard, pinwheels, and a peel-off season schedule. It will be released March 1.
