This Cozy Wicker Park Rooftop Has The Cutest Heated Gingerbread Houses

Snuggle up with hot toddies and build your own gingerbread house.

Wicker Park’s Whiskey Business rooftop is a notorious watering hole fabled for its variety of over 100 different whiskeys. In the time of need, it has given a new lease of life to its 3,000-square-foot multifunctional rooftop and now offers Christmas movie nights, curling, brunches, and more, making their secret hideout a must-visit space this winter.

But that is far from all you’ll find up at the fun-packed patio. As well, as a cozy tent and two 120-inch screens, Whiskey Business is also now home to some of the cutest little gingerbread houses. The bar’s rooftop cabanas have been converted into heated gingerbread houses that you can rent with a group of friends and live out your own private fairytale experience in the heart of Chicago.

The little heated hideaways have been fully equipped with fake fireplaces, candy canes, and Christmas decorations so you can sink a few seasonal cocktails surrounded by festive cheer. The best part? Whiskey Business’s “gingerbread house contest” invites you to build a gingerbread house within their gingerbread houses – gingerbread inception! Those who feel they’ve made something noteworthy or innovative can then post their self-made gingerbread houses to Instagram to be in with the chance of winning a weekly $50 gift card.

There will be seasonal cocktails, spiked hot apple ciders, hot toddies, and peppermint hot chocolate bombs for $10 which come infused with Rumple Minze. Bottomless brunches and bottomless drinks can also be enjoyed within the gingerbread houses when booked on specific weekend slots!

The gingerbread houses require a $50 deposit Monday through Thursday and a $100 deposit Friday through Sunday. In both cases, the prepayment will be taken off your final bill. Reservations can be made for up to 6 guests for a maximum of 2 hours. Take a look at the video below and see if you’ve got what it takes:
