IL residents can get into The Field Museum for free all February long!
Everyone loves free admission days at Chicago’s many museums! They’re a great way to see some of the world’s greatest wonders for absolutely zero cost. The Field Museum has taken things one step further by offering free admission for the entire month of February!
2020 is the third year that The Field Museum has covered the cost of February general admission prices for IL residents. Those who want to upgrade their tickets to see more of the museum can also get discounts on All-Access and Discovery passes. All-Access passes ($17-$23) include general admission, entrance to all ticketed exhibitions, and one 3D movie. Discovery passes ($12-16) include general admission and one ticketed exhibition or one 3D movie.
The museum will also be free for IL residents on January 15, 20, 22, and 29. Many of Chicago’s other museums have free days including the Art Institute, The Museum of Science & Industry, the Shedd Aquarium and more! You must have a valid IL ID, library card, student ID, or other proof of residency to qualify for the discount. Find out more about Chicago museum free days here.
