The third iteration of beloved Lebanese restaurant ‘Evette’s All Day’ is bringing a new location to the Chicago food scene! The restaurant was recognized last year as one of the top 50 U.S. restaurants according to the New York Times.
Chef Mitchell Jamra (the owner of Evette’s and All Too Well) is bringing his signature, innovation and delicious flavors to Lakeview! Evette’s All Day (located at 2807 N Sheffield Ave.) is opening this Friday, March 31.
The popular restaurant, which already has locations in Lincoln Park and Fulton Market, brings together the Mediterranean flavors of Lebanon with Mexico for a blend of rich culinary feats! Halloumi tacos, garlic feta fries, homemade tabbouleh, and more will populate the menu. New options include a Yemen flakey wrap, a fry pita bread that mirrors an Arizona-style dish, and with pita nachos.
The Lakeview restaurant will also feature expanded daily fry and taco programs, along with flatbreads. The 1,200 square foot space is modeled after the Lincoln Park location with seating for 30 guests inside, and a 20-25 seater patio.
Customers can expect their signature Lebanese tacos and daily fry program, but this Evette’s All Day will have an even more expanded menu that’s directly inspired by owner Jamra’s time in the southwest living in Arizona and New Mexico. Customers can expect expanded options like Indigenous American Fry Bread with a Mediterranean twist, pocket pitas like Tortas and Arayes, and flatbreads like Malawach and Man’oushe.
The new space will be open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and offers breakfast until 2 p.m. Breakfast is served everyday and includes tacos, a variety of hash dishes and chilaquiles with a pita or tortilla option along with egg scrambles and more.
