It’s music festival season in Chicago, and a new local celebration is bringing dozens of live performances to one of the city’s most vibrant neighborhoods this summer.
The Edgewater Chamber of Commerce has announced the first-ever Edgewater Music Fest, taking over North Broadway from September 5-7.
35+ artists and 80 vendors
The three-day fest will feature over 35 live music acts, from globally recognized names to up and coming local bands. Headliners include former Against Me! frontwoman Laura Jane Grace, glam rockers Foxy Shazam, and Chicago rapper Ric Wilson.
The event will also feature 80 local food and retail vendors for visitors to explore.

“Edgewater has been craving a dynamic street festival for quite some time. Not just the same copy-and-paste fest we see in other places,” said Garrett Karp, Executive Director of the Edgewater Chamber of Commerce.
“We’re excited to launch a new music-centric experience that feels edgy and exciting, features local food & drinks, and will bring tens of thousands of visitors and new economic investment into our business districts.”
