“Watch a little TV, why don’tcha!”
Another celebrity has taken up the mantle of encouraging people to stay home during the coronavirus pandemic. By the request of New York Gov Andrew Cuomo, beloved actor Danny DeVito posted a video to the Gov’s Facebook page, urging people to stay home to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
While the video was originally aimed at New Yorkers, it really applies to all of us. Don’t let Danny Devito down! Abide by Gov JB Pritzker’s stay-at-home ordinance, only leave your house for essential reasons, and practice social distancing, particularly when it comes to the elderly and immunocompromised people.
As DeVito says, “Young people can get it and they can transmit it to old people, and the next thing you know – I’m outta there!” So stay home, especially if you’re sick, and follow CDC guidelines for keeping all of us– including Danny Devito– safe from coronavirus.
