Orange Line goes 24-hour
The CTA is adding 24 hour service to Midway Airport via the Orange Line, a spokesperson confirmed in a statement obtained by CBS.
The service expansion is one facet of the approved 1.5 billion state transit funding bill passed by state lawmakers last week.
The bill reportedly includes other CTA service expansions, including additional Frequent network routes and increased maintenance.
An exact timeline for when the extended Orange Line service will begin is unclear. Currently, the line offers service to Midway until 1:34 a.m. according to the CTA’s site.
