Thought the snow was finally over? Think again, Chicago!
Just days after a post-Thanksgiving snowstorm dumped 9 inches of the white stuff, the Windy City is poised for a second round of accumulation Monday night.
Here’s a breakdown of the weather outlook.
Chicago under Winter Weather Advisory

The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Cook County, in effect from 2 p.m. Monday until midnight.
Snowfall will begin after 3 p.m. according to the NWS, with a 100% chance of precipitation predicted. The daytime high will reach only 30 degrees and winds up to 10 mph are possible.

New snow accumulation of up to 3 inches is possible this evening, while the overnight low will plunge to a brutally cold 22 degrees.
As the week carries on, additional chances for snow will arrive Wednesday and Saturday. Temperatures will plunge even further into the low teens by mid-week.
Long story short, winter in Chicago is officially upon us—so be sure to bundle up and brace yourself for another cold and snowy week ahead.
