Don’t put away your bathing suit just yet, Chicago—summer temperatures are making a comeback this weekend! Following a week of fall-like temps, the Windy City is in for a serious warm-up in the coming days.
Weekend warm-up on the way
Highs will hover in the low to mid 70s for the start of the week, according to the National Weather Service. Come Friday however, things will take a turn for the warmer for a high of 80 degrees.
Saturday will see a toasty high of 84 degrees and partly sunny conditions, followed by a high of 77 degrees on Sunday.
As for how long the summery conditions will last, daily highs will dip back into the low 70s by early next week, according to predictions from Accuweather.
So be sure to hit the lakefront this weekend and soak up the rays while they last!
