It’s going to be a weekend of wild weather in the Windy City—highs will near 60 degrees Friday before plummeting nearly 30 degrees ahead of back-to-back chances for snow.
Here’s your weekend weather breakdown.
High of 58 Friday, snow Saturday and Sunday

Following a chilly work week, Chicagoans woke up to comparatively mild temps Friday morning.
Friday’s high will top out at around 58 degrees, according to the National Weather Service, before rapidly dropping to just 32 degrees overnight.
Come Saturday, temperatures will hover around the freezing mark for much of the day with a high of only 36 and a 20% chance of snow after 3 p.m.
Intermittent and isolated snow showers will continue over the course of Saturday night.

Additional showers are possible Sunday morning, with a high of 31 degrees to round out the weekend.
Heading into next week, highs will remain in the mid 30s to 40s Monday through Wednesday.
