Heavy rains, high humidity in Chicago this week
Chicago will experience a stretch of intense storms and heavy rains beginning late Monday.
According to predictions from AccuWeather, Monday’s high will reach 83 degrees with humidity as elevated as 98%.
Potentially heavy thunderstorms will occur between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. Monday.
Tuesday will see a 90% chance of morning thunderstorms, with a high of 77 degrees and humidity up to 96%.
Come Wednesday, skies will clear and conditions will improve, with a high of 79 degrees and lingering humidity. Isolated thunderstorms are possible.
The remainder of the week will see highs in the upper 70s and low 80s, with continued high humidity and additional chances for showers.
