Predictions from the National Weather Service indicate temperatures could reach the mid 80s this weekend.

Storms and showers to give way to summer-like weekend

Chicago is set for a major warmup this weekend, but before we can enjoy it, we’ll endure some rainy conditions and seasonable highs.
Tuesday’s high will reach 75 degrees, but don’t grab your beach blanket just yet—it’s going to be rainy for much of the day.
Expect partly sunny skies in the morning, followed by a 60% chance of showers and thunderstorms mainly after 4 p.m., according to the NWS.

Wednesday will see partly sunny skies with a high of only 61 degrees, and winds up to 20 mph.
Thursday will see similar conditions with a high of 61 and sunny skies.
Friday will see a chance of showers and a high of 70 degrees.

Saturday is when things finally take a turn for the warmer. Expect mostly sunny conditions and a toasty high of 83 degrees.
The summer-like temps will last into Sunday, for a high of 80 degrees and mostly sunny skies.
