For those who’ve been waiting for it to finally feel like spring, the wait is almost over!
Chicagoans got a chilly start to the week Monday, with a high of only 48 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.
But the cool temps will be short-lived.
Come Tuesday, the thermometer will jump nearly 30 degrees to a high of 74 degrees.
Wind gusts up to 25 mph are possible, along with a 20% of storms in the evening.

Wednesday will see sunny skies and a high of 56 degrees.
Thursday’s temperatures will climb near 80 degrees, with a high of 79 overall and plenty of sunshine.
Friday will bring the chance of showers and a high of 71 degrees.
By the weekend, we’ll see temps in the high 50s to low 60s and mostly sunny skies.
