A recent survey from telecommunications provider Number Barn found Chicago is among the top producing cities for NFL stars in the country.

The study ranked ten metropolitan area codes from around the U.S., analyzing player statistics to determine which cities have the most hometown NFL heroes.
According to the findings, Chicago (a.k.a the 312) ranked second overall, with 496 NFL players calling the Windy City home.
