Chicago suburbs among 100 Best Places to Live in 2026
City data site Livability just released its list of Top 100 Best Places to Live in the U.S. in 2026.
The ranking considered the following factors to determine which small to mid-size U.S. cities have the best quality of life:
- Economy & Housing
- Amenities & Environment
- Safety, Health & Education
- Transportation
Of the findings, two Chicago suburbs ranked in the top 20 towns, with one in the top five!
Evanston claimed the number 13 spot on the list while Naperville ranked in at number 4.
Livability notes both city’s access to health care, convenient commuting options, and family-friendly environments.
