Along with their individual Wrapped roundups, Spotify has released their Wrapped Mapped feature, showcasing which songs were most popular in cities around the globe.

The Windy City’s Top 5 Songs for 2024 exemplify this diverse music history, spanning artists across a range of sounds and genres.
Country was big in Chicago this year, with Shaboozey’s party anthem “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” and Post Malone’s collaboration with Morgan Wallen, “I’ve Had Some Help,” both ranking among the city’s favorites.
In the pop category, Sabrina Carpenter and Chappell Roan reigned supreme, with their respective hits “Espresso” and “Good Luck, Babe!” among Chicago’s top 5 songs.
In the rap category, Kendrick Lamar had Chicago listeners hitting replay with his hit track “Not Like Us.”
While Chicago’s favorites align with overall U.S. trends, they deviate somewhat from worldwide listening habits. Artists like Taylor Swift, Kanye West, Bad Bunny, Peso Pluma, and The Weeknd were the most streamed artists globally.
