Pride Month may be coming to a close, but the Windy City’s biggest celebration of LGBTQ+ culture is yet to come!
The 55th annual Chicago Pride Parade is this weekend, bringing a full day of music, dancing, floats, and community to the historic Northalsted neighborhood.

When is the Chicago Pride Parade?

The Chicago Pride parade will take place Sunday, June 28, beginning at 11 a.m.
Where is the parade route?

The parade will begin at Sheridan and Broadway streets, with the spectator area beginning a block south at Grace Street and Broadway.
From there, the parade will continue south along Broadway before merging onto Halsted street, and eventually culminating near Diversey harbor.
What’s the best way to get to the parade?

Organizers recommend utilizing mass transit on the day of the Parade.
Chicagoans can easily head to and from the festivities by following these CTA routes:
- Red line
- Exit at Belmont or Addison CTA stops
- Brown line
- Exit at Belmont CTA stop
What should I bring with me?

Chicago Pride Parade organizers emphasize staying hydrated and adequately fueled for the duration of the festivities.
Be sure to pack a water bottle and grab-n-go snacks like energy bars to ensure proper satiation.
Organizers also recommend wearing sunblock and bringing a hat or other head covering.
