2026 is almost here, and Chicago is preparing to host its first-ever edition of Dick Clark’s New Years Rockin’ Eve.
The celebration will feature musical performances, a live broadcast, a midnight countdown, and much more.

Chicago New Years Rockin’ Eve schedule

Presented by the city Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events (DCASE), Chicago’s New Years Rockin Eve celebration will open to the public at 5 p.m.
Here’s the full schedule according to DCASE:
- 5 p.m. – Gates open (Wells and Lake Street entrances)
- 7 – 9 p.m. – ART on the MART Projections
- 9 p.m. – Stage performances begin
- DJ Mike Dunn
- DJ Mike P
- J. Ivy
- Shemekia Copeland
- 11:45 p.m. – Chance the Rapper performs
- 11:50 p.m. – Drone show begins
- Midnight (12 a.m.) –
- Fireworks show from bridges
- DJ Mike P
