Chicago’s silliest winter tradition, the annual You Name a Snowplow contest is back for its third edition, and voting is now open!
The contest has been narrowed down to fifty finalists, with top entries like “Adler Plowatarium”, “The Salt Shedder”, and “Urbs in Ortsnow.”
Previous year’s winners include hilariously punny names like “Skilling It” and “Mies Van Der Snow.”
Chicagoans can cast their vote for their favorite name from now until January 21. Six winning names will be selected and applied to one snowplow in each of the city’s 6 snow districts.
