Get ready, local shoppers, the Logan Square Farmers Market is set to make its highly anticipated debut in its new permanent location.
Starting next month, the popular market, organized by the Logan Square Chamber of Commerce, will take over the revamped Milwaukee Plaza and a portion of Logan Boulevard, stretching between Kedzie Boulevard and Milwaukee Avenue, for the season.
According to Block Club Chicago, the market’s previous location was a few blocks away on Logan Boulevard for 18 years, then on Kedzie Boulevard for 2 years.
With construction on the major traffic circle project nearly complete, the market is heading to its final destination.
The market will feature 103 rotating farmers and food vendors set up inside the plaza and along Logan Boulevard, with 44 farmers present each week. Additionally, 14 vintage vendors will be situated at La Placita in front of Reno, Same Day Cafe, and other businesses on Kedzie.
