More than two decades later, its most iconic characters, creatures, and moments are still inspiring new experiences for fans of all ages. Next month, the beloved film series is taking over the Chicago skies with a massive drone spectacle at SeatGeek Stadium.

Over two nights only, 1,200 illuminated drones will recreate some of the film franchise’s most iconic characters, creatures, and moments in a synchronized aerial performance. A live electric violinist will perform key pieces from the Harry Potter™ film soundtrack, adding a dynamic musical element to the spectacle as the aerial formations unfold overhead.
Guests will receive LED wristbands, helping create synchronized lighting effects throughout the crowd! Fans can also browse exclusive themed merchandise, including wands, scarves, and collectibles, while food and beverage vendors will offer Harry Potter™-inspired treats!
About Chicago’s SeatGeek Stadium
Located in Bridgeview, roughly 12 miles southwest of downtown Chicago, SeatGeek Stadium is one of the region’s largest dedicated outdoor entertainment venues. Opened in 2006, the stadium was originally built as a soccer-specific facility and has hosted professional soccer, rugby, concerts, festivals, and major live events throughout its history.
The venue features a seating capacity of approximately 20,000 for sporting events and can accommodate up to 28,000 attendees for concerts and special productions. Its design incorporates European-style stadium architecture, with covered seating areas, luxury suites, club spaces, and spectators positioned remarkably close to the field, creating an intimate viewing experience despite the stadium’s large scale.
